I’ve been under the impression for awhile that the Antichrist is the Roman Catholic Church, not the False Prophet. The Roman Catholic Church fits Revelation’s description more accurately than anything or anyone I’ve seen. As does the United States as the False Prophet.
Hi Trill, the thing is that the “False prophet” has all the tendencies of being an spiritual leader, while the First beast is a world leader. The Antichrist is neither of these, it is actually what is known as the Image of the Beast or the Abomination of Desolation of the Book of Daniel, it is a false messiah, whom the false prophet will accept as his messiah, leading the whole world to it also, while the world leader will agree, since all his power and authority came from the spirit giving life to the Image or Abomination of Desolation.
